Decades of experience
In May 2024 Talisman Plastics and Merriott Group joined forces to create Talisman Group. A combination of leading UK plastic manufacturers joined forces to solidify the future of UK plastics production for years to come. Talisman (originally LGG Charlesworth) traces its history back to the 1920’s, whilst Merriott began their journey in 1938. Both companies hold a huge legacy of industry knowledge in their own rights and have now accumulated their libraries of expertise to build an established company with many decades of experience.

Started moulding electrical & Crystal radio set connectors
1938
Merriott Mouldings was formed
1953
Established as a leading UK technical moulding company
2008
Talisman Plastics, a specialist in Security & clinical waste seals was acquired
2010
Merriott Plastics transferred all moulding presses and equipment to the present facility in Crewkerne, 2.6 miles from the original facility in Merriott.
2013
New Warehouse constructed – Malvern
2018
Talisman acquired Kennet Plastics, specialist in Caps and Closures
2022
ISO14001 certification and working towards BRC combined with major building refurbishment work undertaken - Malvern
2023
BRCGS certification achieved - Malvern
May 2024
